*I tried to figma prototype/ make a landing page/ but I just couldn't figure it out, so over summer I will watch loads of tutorials and try and improve on this. I struggled with this last semester two but over summer I'll have time to get better at it all.

Roughly sketching out my idea for my app.

Trying to design a logo around my band name. I found that learning about the anatomy of typefaces came in very useful. I was able to study the word and the ascenders at the beginning end and middle of 'bandstand' inspired me to try and turn the word into a bandstand/ house to resemble togetherness, as my app is all about connecting you to those around you who listen to similar music.

Then I tried a different approach with trying to create headphones instead.

Basic sketches of how I wanted my app to look. I think I always jump too fast into working digitally. I struggle to sit down and sketch loads because I find it easier to create basic mock ups on my computer than I can easily move the pieces around on. But in future I will sketch more and also take more screen shots of in between when I'm moving everything around to find layouts I like.
