Self Reflection:

What I learned about branding: In IXD 103, I learned that branding is more than just a logo or a name. It's the entire experience that a customer has with a company or product, including visual design and customer service.

What I could improve on/ what I found difficult: I could improve upon my understanding of how branding impacts user experience. By studying how branding affects user perception and behavior, I can create more effective designs that align with a company's brand. I think I also need to spend some time over summer learning how to prototype and build landing pages and websites. Last semester I struggled with this too.

What I liked: I enjoyed learning about the process of creating a brand identity. From researching existing banks to sketching and mapping out the design of the app. The process involved a lot of creativity and critical thinking. To build something new and watch it come to life is a very satisfying process. I also enjoyed seeing how branding can be applied across different mediums, such as print, web, and packaging.

An Aspect Of Branding I enjoyed:

An aspect of branding I enjoyed was understanding how branding can be used to create an emotional connection between a user and a product or company. By creating a consistent and memorable brand experience, companies can establish a sense of trust and loyalty with their customers. The brand pyramid is something I will definitely keep in mind. I enjoyed taking the brief and exploring lots of different iterations to end up with one final and resolved outcome. I enjoyed the journey of creating something new and answering all the questions I started with and finding solutions to new ones that arose during.
